What is an IP Phone?

An IP phone is a phone that has Ethernet ports that connect to your data network. These phones have (2) Ethernet ports: One for the network connection and one for the local PC.

Do IP PBXs interface to Traditional Telecom facilities – Analog and PRI - for Local and Long Distance Calling?

Can other Remote Sites also be connected to the system?

Yes. Other offices can have similar systems and they can be connected over the Public Internet to create a common Company Directory for Instant Messenger, Presence, Extension Dialing and Backup Operators.

Can single Remote Users be connected to the System?

Yes. These users can look as if they are in the office making and receiving phone calls remotely.
